Kwi¶
Kwi is the tutor persona for Learner: a small saffron spark with eyes. It greets the learner, fronts the chat empty state, recommends a next step, celebrates finished practice and runs onboarding as a conversation.
Kwi doesn't get a different art style per age. It gets quieter.

Class 3 hears "Hi Aarav! I found a number game for you. It takes 3 minutes. Want to play?" Class 9 hears "Back to thermodynamics? You stopped at heat transfer yesterday."
Chat is grade-aware: the onboarding class level travels with each message.
/learn¶
The home for Learner and for institutional learners. It shows Kwi's greeting with the learner's name and goal, their subjects first, and four intent tiles.

Nothing auto-sends. Pickers prefill subject from the profile and the learner confirms.
Understand a topic¶
For a learner in classes 1 to 12, "Understand a topic" asks for subject, then chapter, and checks what the learner already has:
- Already in a study plan: offers to open the plan at that chapter.
- Not in a plan: offers to build a study plan with that chapter prefilled, or a quick read of about five minutes, right in the chat.
A quick read is grounded on the NCERT chapter when one is indexed and costs one unit of the free generation pool. If generation fails, the unit is refunded.
Content packs¶
Four static packs per class band, generated once with LLMs and reviewed by a person before seeding. Kwi recommends from the learner's pack.

Exam overlays use the real past-paper bank. Status: seeded in development, not yet populated for production. Undergraduates have no class level, so they don't get a pack.
