AI for trainers¶
The /teach home¶
The instructor's home. /dashboard redirects here. Top to bottom:
- Greeting, and a large prompt box that starts a chat with what the trainer typed
- A scroller of the trainer's courses with learner and pending counts
- A banner to pick up the most recent draft, deck or submission
- Intent tiles: lesson plan, presentation, research, question bank
- Needs attention: assignments waiting to be graded
AI tutor for trainers¶
The chat at /new-chat with mode chips above the composer. No chip selected means plain chat.
| Mode | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Research | Web search with citations, in brief, standard or comprehensive depth |
| Lesson planning | Lesson structures |
| Content creation | Lesson content |
| Question bank | Assessment questions |
| Teaching ideas | Pedagogy brainstorming |
| Learner feedback | Draft feedback |
| Presentation | Slide decks |
The server decides which modes each user gets. Answers stream, tools (code execution, web search, knowledge base retrieval, image generation) render inline as result cards, and generated items appear as rich cards.
- Presentations open at
/presentations/:idwith present mode, PPTX and PDF export, and editing. - Research reports open inline with sources, DOCX and Markdown download, and Publish as lesson to a class or section.
- Search Chats at
/historylists past conversations grouped by date and type, with search.
Artifacts¶
/artifacts is one read-only list of everything a user has generated: question banks, lesson plans, assignments, modules, presentations, research reports and practice tests. It reads from each feature's own tables rather than copying them. Trainers open documents in the editor. Viewing is never metered.
Creation forms¶
In build. Lesson plans, question banks and slide decks move from free-text chat to a structured form at /create/:tool:
- Teaching context: pick one of the trainer's real allocations ("Mathematics · B.E. Sem 3 · CSE-A"), which carries subject, branch, semester and linked material.
- Topic.
- Tool fields: duration and session type for lesson plans; count, types, difficulty and Bloom emphasis for question banks; length, depth and style for decks.
- Grounding: knowledge base material for that course, optional.
- Generate into a two-pane editor: the document on the right, a refine chat scoped to it on the left, with DOCX, PDF and Markdown export and a permanent AI-generated label.
Chat will stop generating these directly. Asked for a question bank, it replies with a prefilled "Open in builder" card. Assignments keep their own wizard.
